The preparations for the Fourth European Congress on World and Global History are underway and the Call for panels has just being started. The conference to be held in Paris next year will focus on “Encounters, Circulations and Conflicts”. It is hoped to stimulate a discussion on the meaning and relevance of relations, comparisons, transfers, and entanglements between states, peoples, communities, and individuals in a ‘long durée’-perspective.
