Objectives and Tasks

Objectives

Maintain and complete the inventory of hydrometeorological stations in the Alpine Region.

Implement comparable QC standards in the participating institutions in order to get hydrometeorological datasets of more homogeneous quality.

Assist the MDC with collecting high resolution non GTS data for the MAP seasons, MAP episodes, the GOP and the SOP according to the MAP data policy.

Tasks

Objective 1: Complete the information available at MDC and update it on request

Objective 2:

Information exchange by using the WG as a network. IMGW will serve as focal point. Personnel information is available at the MAP internet site (http://www.map.ethz.ch).

Information and experience exchange in workshops and meetings e.g. during other MAP events.

Fill out the summaries about QC

Participate at the ‘DAQUAMAP information exchange procedure’

Objective 3: Establish data delivery procedures (if not already done) for MDC especially for the GOP and the SOP.
