This paper should be seen as a companion to the article Wiener Amalgams over Euclidean Spaces and some of their Applications published in this issue. We are going to show how Wiener amalgam spaces (and not just ordinary amalgam spaces) can be used to derive results of interest in sampling theory. In this sense it represents a continuation of a series of papers on the theoretical background of the irregular sampling problem for band-limited functions.
