The International Legal Informatics Symposium (IRIS) will take place at the Law Faculty of the University of Salzburg from 22-24 February 2007. Already being in its 10th year, IRIS has been established as the largest and most important academic conference on computers and law in Austria and Central Europe. IRIS 2007 consists of a main conference, structured into several tracks, and the sister-conference KnowRight 2007.

Participation:

Participation is free of charge.

Helpful information for Participants who present a paper:

The presentations are grouped into sessions. All speakers are restricted to 20 minutes. At the end of each session, there is time for an extensive discussion.
The official language of the conference will be German. Presentations of papers and statements during discussions can, however, be delivered in English as well.
The publication of proceedings is planned.

If you want to submit a paper, you have to use the following template:

You can either submit a so-called "short paper" (up to 4 pages) or a "long paper" (up to 8 pages). Your camera-ready paper will be due in mid-April, 2007. For correspondence concerning an accepted paper, we ask you to use exclusively the following e-mail address: jahrbuch.ri@univie.ac.at.
