UN Special Rapporteur on Torture Manfred Nowak held a lecture at the 30th anniversary of the UN Working Group on Enforced and Involuntary Disappearances (WGEID). Nowak was a former member of the WGEID and participated with this speech in a panel discussion on the topic “WEIGD’s contribution in defining enforced disappearances and developing an applicable legal regime”.
