This
Action is funded by COST (European Cooperation in Science and
Technology).
COST
is one of the longest-running European instruments supporting cooperation
among scientists and researchers across Europe. It is an intergovernmental
framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology, allowing
the coordination of nationally-funded research on a European level.
COST – together with EUREKA and the EU framework programmes
– is one of the three pillars of joint European research initiatives.
COST
is based on networks, called COST
Actions. These are centered around research projects in fields
that are of interest to at least five COST
countries. There are currently more than 200 Actions running
in the 9 scientific Domains. In addition, Trans-Domain Proposals
(TDP) give the opportunity to strike across the scientific Domains.
