Second scientific evaluation with positive outcome - extension of run-time of the Christian-Doppler-Laboratory
The second scientific evaluation of the Christian-Doppler-Laboratory for Molecular Recognition Materials was carried out at the end of November 2006. Wolfgang Bicker has been awarded the prize for the best Ph.D. thesis in analytical chemistry in 2005/06 by the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry. In his thesis work, which was carried out within the frame of the Christian-Doppler-Laboratory for Molecular Recognition Materials, Wolfgang Bicker applied liquid phase separation methods and mass spectrometry for solving analytical problems of toxicological relevance.Fritz-Pregl prize awarded to Michael Lämmerhofer

In the course of the 2005 annual meeting of the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry Michael Lämmerhofer was awarded the Feigl prize for his work on enantiomer separations by capillary electrochromatography using monolithic separation materials.
