New Computationalism -- Conceptus-Studien 14

This special issue of the Conceptus series (edited by Matthias Scheutz) contains revised and extended articles resulting from lectures, discussions, and conference papers on the topic "New Computationalism". On the one hand, they address different aspects of computation such as representation (Chemero), embedding (Schwarz), productivity (Shagrir) or nondeterminism (Warwick). On the other hand, they revisit and investigate the computationalist program itself, the epistemological foundations (Born), the transparent reading (Chrisley), the very idea (Davenport) and the historical development (Scheutz).
