Short Bio
Valérie Bonnardel holds a PhD in neuroscience from the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France. She is a Reader in Experimental Psychology at the University of Winchester, England. Her research interest concerns human colour vision from the sensory level to cognitive processing including memory, naming, categorisation and preferences. She held the Colour Research Chair at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India, where she conducted a research programme on individual differences and cultural influences on colour perception.
