Adalira Sáenz-Ludlow is a Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Under the umbrella of the Peircean sign theory, her research interests are the semiotic aspects in the conceptualization of mathematical objects and the intra-inter interpretation that occurs during classroom mathematical communication.
