Short Bio
Herbert F. J. Müller was born 1924 in Cologne, Germany. After school and (1942–1945) military service, studied medicine at the University of Cologne (1945–1951, Dr.med.); fur ther study of psychology and philosophy (Cologne and Bonn). From 1951, medical internship in New Jersey, postgraduate training in psychiatry, neurology, and electro-encephalography at NewYork University, Universidade do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro), Düsseldorf, and (since 1956) McGill University in Montreal (Associate Prof. of Psychiatry). Clinical work at Douglas Hospital, Montreal, since 1959, with emphasis on EEG and gero-psychiatry. Published over 70 papers in these fields. Müller was a Board Member of Constructivist Foundations until he passed away in 2010.
