Short Bio

Being the head of the music department at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (KCB), Kathleen Coessens teaches artistic research practices and supervises PhD students at the conservatoires of Brussels and Antwerp, and at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. In her research she explores the crossings of science and art, human creativity and cultural representations, tacit, embodied and sensorial knowledge.
