Short Bio

Marzenna Cyzman is a university teacher and researcher at the Institute of Polish Literature (Theory of Literature Section). Her main field of interest is philosophy of literature and philosophy of language. She is co-editor of four collective works: Z teorii dzieła literackiego; Filozoficzne inspiracje literatury. Seria 1 and Seria2; Teoria literatury w swietle jezykoznawstwa, and the author of many articles concerning fundamental problems of a literary discourse (e.g., the logical status of fictional and non-fictional discourse, the notion of interpretation) published in Principia, Logic and Logical Philosophy and many collective works. At present she is preparing her post-doctoral work, which deals with the status of an object in a literary discourse/literary research.
