Organisation and structure

In the field of research, the University of Vienna is subdivided into 15 Faculties and three Centres. In the area of administration, there are eight university offices, four administrative departments and one special facility. 47 degree programme directors and the Studienpräses (i.e. the head of university studies) are responsible for the current organisation of courses.
