With 188 study programmes, the University of Vienna offers the widest range of study programmes available in Austria.

Admission 
Application for the summer semester 2012 has been terminated on January 31. Admission, renewing or changes of degree programmes have to be done personally and directly in the Admission Office.

Introductory and orientation period (STEOP)
During the first semester the STEOP courses allow you to make a realistic assessment of the study programme’s content and requirements. Only after passing all STEOP examinations, you can attend additional courses and take further examinations.

Application procedure for Psychology and Mass Media and Communication Studies
The Bachelor degree programmes Psychology and Mass Media and Communication Studies are subject to special regulations. Both study programmes have application procedures that require registration and admission.
