A stay abroad can often cause confusion.

The "Homies" project of the ÖH Uni Wien is meant to help in solving these problems and to guarantee a smooth kickoff into the semester.

The project will be launched in autumn 2010 by the Department for International Matters (Referat für Internationales) http://www.oeh.univie.ac.at/arbeitsbereiche/internationales.html and the Foreigners Department (AusländerInnenreferat) http://www.oeh.univie.ac.at/arbeitsbereiche/auslaenderinnen.html of the ÖH Uni Wien.

We adress ourselves as well to foreign students, as to people already a bit more familiar with the life as a student.

We offer every international students ("Incomings"), no matter if they came to Austria with Erasmus, Joint Study or by themselves, a contact person ("Homie") who will help them to get along and to orient themselves in the everyday life of the Universit of Vienna and in their new ambience.
