Nucleus
We are pleased to start 2010 with the launch of Nucleus, an international peerreviewed journal focusing on the functional organization and dynamics of the cell nucleus.
This new journal is both timely and important, since it is increasingly recognized that the dynamic organization of the nucleus is ultimately linked to its diverse functions and their regulation.
Nucleus endeavors to address the growing desire for communication among scientists working on the diverse areas related to nuclear organization and dynamics, ranging from DNA replication and gene expression to chromatin organization and nuclear structure.
Nucleus provides a joint publication forum for the “nucleus community” to foster crosspollination among the subdomains within the nucleus field.
The first issue of Nucleus features an interesting blend of Original Research Papers and
Reviews as well as Article Addenda and Commentaries on significant recent papers in the field.
