Sala Terrena

The conference takes place in the National Defence Academy, located in Vienna's 7 th district. Our panels will meet in the architectural pearl of the academy, the “Sala Terrena”.

The National Defence Academy is the highest military training and research institution of the Austrian Armed Forces.
Within the framework of training programmes the National Defence Academy cooperates with the University of Vienna and offers their students to obtain a Master of Arts degree. In addition, the National Defence Academy offers a course for a Master of Security and Defence Management degree.

Numerous joint research projects of the institutes of the National Defence Academy with universities at home and abroad form the basis for successful teaching. Cooperation among national and international research institutions is a precondition for gaining the expertise needed to advise the decision makers of the Republic of Austria.
