Welcome to Keltische ForschungenThe journal Keltische Forschungen (KF), first published in 2006 (see History), is edited at the subdepartment for Indo-European Linguistics and Celtic Studies of the Department of Linguistics of the University of Vienna. The publication of Keltische Forschungen is commissioned by Brennos - Austrian Society for Celtic Studies. It is carried out by an international board of editors. The subject matter of Keltische Forschungen is Celtic studies as a cultural discipline in the broadest possible sense; i.e., it encompasses all research concerned with forms of cultural expression that relate directly or indirectly to Celtic societies or individuals. These include the traditional subjects of archaeology, ethnology, history, art history, literature, language and religion, as well as the reception of Celtic cultures from ancient to modern times, research into the discipline of Celtic studies and its history, and theoretical approaches to the field. Keltische Forschungen is a peer-reviewed journal. Authors are requested to adhere to the in-house style sheet for articles. In accordance with the statutes of the journal, the editors subject all submissions to a peer review process by at least two anonymous reviewers. The editorial board decides about the acceptance of submissions. Neither the review nor the return of unsolicited books can be guaranteed. Questions that relate to the contents of Keltische Forschungen are to be addressed to the editors. Orders of individual volumes or subscriptions should be directed to the publisher, Praesens Verlag.
