Definition: Operative Einheiten im Allianzsystem, die in der Regel Segmente exogamer Deszendenzgruppen als korporative Einheiten sind.

Anmerkungen: "A descent group does not necessarily contract alliances as a corporate group, but its component lineages may differentially contract their own alliances, and these lineages are then themselves to be distinguished as alliance group. There may thus in fact be reciprocal exchange between descent groups in an asymmetric system . (But) the relations between alliance groups nevertheless remain asymmetric.
