Commentary

Taking inspiration from the news (Castelletto Ticino) and the revisions (Prestino) about the Celtic language in Italy, the author underlines some aspects of the alphabetic and linguistic question (the genitive in -osio together with the genitive in -i; the onomastic formula etc.).
Remarkable is the suggestion of a nominal base *ghostio- (+ -sio-) for the χosioiso of Castelletto Ticino (NO·1, NO·2).
