Commentary
Lejeune (1971: 128) presumes in NM·9 two abbreviated legends, where ana possibly refers to an ethnic name. (Lejeune 1971: 128-129) The sequence ana appears also in anareiuśeos (NO·21.1), anarekartos or anarekartoi (NM·2), anask (VA·20), and the variant reading anatikou (NM·9).
