Here is a copy of their first announcementBudapest Workshop on the Skeletonis organized by the English Linguistics Department of the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Our main aim is to discuss and confront views on what the phonological skeleton should look like, consider arguments for/against strict CV/VC skeletons and ways of encoding relationships between skeletal positions. There are planned to be some preannounced talks and we want to provide much more discussion time than usual. Departures from the preset topic are also conceivable. Dates: 29-30 May 2000, Monday afternoon and Tuesday
