Florian Menz   born in 1960, Associate professor, M.A. (linguistics), PhD (discourse analysis). Studies of general and applied linguistics in Vienna (Austria) and Berlin (West, FRG).
Main research fields:   language and institutions; language, power, and ideology; language and prejudice

Working in and leading projects on legal language, language and politics (prejudice), readability research, doctor-patient-interaction, business and organizational communication.

Since 1984 active in postgraduate courses for teachers and civil servants.
