Marlene Sator   born in 1978
beruflicher Werdegang:   Marlene Sator, born 1978, studied applied linguistics in Vienna and has been working in discourse and conversation analytically oriented projects at the University of Vienna and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Bielefeld. Her work has been primarily in the area of analysis of medical and therapeutic communication. Specifically, she has thusfar focused on studying representations of pain and illness as well as the communicative description of anxiety. One of her major interests is the interactional marking of relevance.
