The graduate training program (Initiativkolleg, IK) "Molecular Drug Targets" announces ten graduate student positions beginning October 1st, 2007, which will be funded until September 30th, 2010. The successful applicants will work in close collaboration with colleagues from his/her department as well as with applicants from other departments. Positions for young scientists to achieve a Dr.rer.nat. in Natural Sciences are available at the following departments: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The recipients are employed half time (20 hours/week) at the University of Vienna. This includes 10 hours/week in teaching and research tasks. The students are allowed to be employed another 20 hours/week in context with their scientific field. The basic annual salary is approx. 14,000 Euros, health insurance is included, and tuition fees are waived. The position will run up to 36 months, starting with October 1st, 2007 and ending with September 30th, 2010. A short-term stay (1 month) in a laboratory abroad will be part of the program. The ideal candidate should hold a degree (1st October) in natural sciences. The University of Vienna especially encourages women to apply. |
