German Society for Music Psychology
The German Society for Music Psychology (DGM) was founded in 1983. It promotes the work of musicologists, (social)psychologists, and educators and other scholars and researchers specialising in the study of music psychology in its broadest sense.
To this end, the society organises a yearly conferences and contributes to international meetings (e. g. ESCOM 5). Since 1984 it publishes the peer-reviewed Yearbook of Music Psychology (Jahrbuch Musikpsychologie). English abstracts accompany all articles. The current volume is number 20. Society membership includes the yearbook.
The DGM is a non-profit association.
