Typical for our group is the permanent and strong interaction with many other colleagues from a variety of scientific fields, with variable backgrounds, and in many different countries (USA, Europe, China, Israel,...). The mathematical topics include abstract harmonic analysis, approximation theory, applied mathematics or numerical linear algebra. Among the applications one finds areas such as signal processing, image analysis, geophysics, astronomy, medical imaging, computer science, chemical engineering, pattern recognition and many others. It is certainly not possible to give any exhaustive list of those cooperations. The following table should give an indication of some of the more important connections that have been established and hopefully will gain importance in the future.
