  ABSTRACT:
Sound transformation between two sounds can be modeled as a Gabor multiplier, which is defined by pointwise multiplication with a given Gabor mask in the time-frequency domain. We develop new approaches for the estimation of a Gabor multiplier between two sounds, based upon regularized variational approaches, and propose corresponding efficient iterated shrinkage algorithms. Then, estimated Gabor masks are used for sounds morphing and classification.
