I will consider a finite dimensional Hilbert space and introduce the
concept of a mixed frame potential, which generalizes the notion of the
Benedetto-Fickus frame potential. A characterization of the minimizer of this new potential will be presented.The minimizers are related to a concept of a dual frames.
