Introduction The lecture "Advances in Nutrition Research" is intended to provide insights into recent aspects of nutrition research from the various research areas at the Department of Nutritional Sciences and thus to demonstrate nutrition research concepts, their implemenation into scientifc projects and the discussion of relevant outcomes.
Learning outcomes: To understand and to be able to integrate and transfer modern nutrition research concepts into actual research projects.
Credits: The course is part of the curriculum Master of Science (Human Nutrition) for students in all four programmes (MSc Modules MN1, FQ1, EP1, PH1: Integrative Human Nutrition, 3 ECTS). For students of the present programme in Human Nutrition (“Diplomstudium Ernährungswissenschaften”), the course can be fully credited for non-compulsory courses (“Freie Wahl”). For all other credits please contact the programme administrator (Studienprogrammleiter).
Format:

The course is intended for advanced students and will partky be held in English.

All course material will be made available online at the latest one day prior to the date of the corresponding lecture.

Date and place: The course is scheduled for Mondays, 1800-1930 hrs, lecture hall 5, UZA2 (Centre of Pharmacy, level 5, Althanstr. 14, 1090 Vienna), starting on 10. October 2011. Please refer to the detailled course calendar below.
