The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceutics is part of the Pharmacy Centre (Pharmaziezentrum), located at the 2nd building of the University Centre Althanstraße (UZA 2). 

As indicated in the map, there are several possibilities to enter the UZA2:

  • Main entrance 
    (from Augasse 2-4)
  • Side entrance Informatik und Statistik
    (from Josef Holaubek Platz)
  • Side entrance Geozentrum 
    (from Althanstraße)
  • Back entrance 
    (from Nordbergstraße 17)

The most convenient ones are the Main entrance or the side entrance via the Josef Holaubek Platz.

  • Subway U4 - Station "Spittelau"
  • Subway U6 - Station "Spittelau"
  • Tram D - Station "Liechtenwerder Platz"
  • Bus 35A - Station "Josef-Holaubek-Platz"

For parking your car, we suggest the garage underneath the Pharmaziezentrum (UZA2), which can be reached via the Josef Holaubek Platz or via Althanstraße. To enter the UZA 2 from the inside the parking garage, please follow the signs.

Inside UZA 2

Inside the UZA 2 building you will find a main corridor with several bridgeworks and several wings (A – G) stretching to either side. Entering from the main entrance, you will start with wing A, whereas entering from Josef Holaubek Platz you will start with wing G.
The Secretary of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceutics is located at room 2G 306.
