Carbohydrate Science, presently as applied to

  • New pharmaceutical excipients (artificial oligosaccharides and polysaccharides)
  • Carbohydrate metabolism in bacteria (probiotics, prebiotics and symbiotics)
  • Elucidation of structure of non-regular polysaccharides (plant mucilages)
