EDITORIAL: Issue Number 13

    This issue marks the start of a new section devoted to reports on research activity, meetings, and the likes. We are happy to include a contribution from the 'MODEST' collaboration - and the very first book review (of IAU Symposium 207, by R. deGrijs). We hope these two will encourage others to send in their similar input.

    Thanks once more to all those who sent in their abstracts, and congratulations to those who obtained their degree!
