Dear subscriber,

Here is the 26th issue of the newsletter, just in time to send our wishes to everyone for a merry holiday season and a happy new year 2006. The WEBDA database which was created and maintained by Jean-Claude Mermilliod has moved from Geneva to Vienna (read more details in the Newsletter). The abstract submission page for SCYON has therefore also moved to Vienna. We wish to thank Jean-Claude for creating and mainting the WEBDA database and his work as an editor of SCYON and wish Ernst Paunzen good luck with his future work on the database. Ernst has also replaced Jean-Claude has an editor of SCYON.

The current SCYON issue contains 20 abstracts, an announcement for a one day meeting in London and a job advertisement from Northwestern University. As usual, we wish to thank all who sent in their contributions.
