The Archives, which provide a means to deposit and retrieve unpublished observations of variable stars is adding the convenience to store and retrieve data by electronic means (E-Mail, tape, diskette). The Centre de donnees stellaires in Strasbourg has kindly agreed to provide this service. However, your editor will still be assigning file numbers and handle the paper copies. A detailed description of this service will be announced in a forthcoming issue of the Inf. Bull Var. Stars.
