List of known RR Lyrae Blazhko stars

This has no intention to be exhaustive! it just serves as a starting point.

This list is compiled from a couple of existing lists:
The list in Smith (1995, Cambridge University Press) containing FIELD RR Lyrae stars was adapted from Szeidl (1988), who published the first comprehensive list. Jurcsik et al. (2005, Acta Astronomica 55, 303) completed Smith's table with new data (their Table 1), and some stars were removed from the list. Sodor & Jurcsik (2005, IBVS 5641) also published a revision of Bela Szeidl's list of galactic field RRab stars with known Blazhko periods; for some stars the originally published periods were wrong or their Blazhko status is even unclear. Additional stars were identified from the NSVS survey by Wils, Lloyd & Bernhard (2006, MNRAS 368, 1757) For the southern stars, Wils & Sodor (2005, IBVS 5655) published an updated list with quite some new stars, found in the ASAS database. (For some stars we have carried out extensive photometry and were able to get better period values, updated in the list (see Kolenberg et al. 2008: CoAst 153, 67 and arXiv:0812.2065.)
