We invite you to join us for a workshop on 'Uranium biogeochemistry: transformations and applications'
The workshop will begin with a reception on Sunday March 11. 2012, evening and will end after lunch on Friday,March 16. 2012
There will be an excursion Wednesday afternoon around Lago Maggiore.
In the spirit of the location, participants are kindly asked to stay for the whole period of the workshop.
There will be eight oral sessions and two poster sessions (see program). Young scientists are particularly invited to participate in these sessions. The workshop will keep an unhurried pace and is designed to encourage discussions after talks, during breaks and in the evenings. The attendance will be limited to 90 participants. Deadline for abstract submission is December 15, 2011.
The Centro Stefano Franscini (CSF) is the international conference center of the Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology (ETH) at Zurich.
The center is located on the Monte Veritŕ above Ascona in the Canton Ticino, the southern part of Switzerland, and situated in a scenic park
with a marvelous view onto the Lago Maggiore and the mountains.
