Quantum Fields, Curvature, and Cosmology

Abstract:

We review, in a pedagogical way, recent progress that has been made on the theoretical foundations and analysis of interacting quantum field theories on curved spacetime manifolds, and we describe applications of these ideas to important issues in cosmology.
