The ugriz datatype corresponds to the u'g'r'i'z' system described by Smith and Tucker (2002, AJ 123, 2121). These observations have been developed to "back-calibrate" the Sloan digital survey (SDSS). A survey of about 105 open clusters has been announced. The first paper was devoted to NGC 2548.
