Biographical Note: Anne C Zeller

Anne C. Zeller was born in Guelph Ontario and attended Trent University for her undergraduate B. Sc. Degree and University of Toronto for her MA and Ph. D. She began graduate school with an interest in genetics which was fostered by a term spent studying human and Chimpanzee chromosomes at the Istituto di Antroplogia in Turin with Prof. Brunetto Chiarelli. Later she turned to study of communication in free ranging macaques and has published in that area for the last 20 years. During that time she has also investigated adult infant socialization patterns in free ranging and captive Macaca fascicularis (long tailed macaques) in Borneo and in the United States.
