Hankel operators of finite rank for sequence spaces have some very interesting
properties and are closely related to finite dimensional spaces of exponential
polynomials, finite dimensional shift invariant spaces and zero dimensional
ideals. In fact, it turns out that these concepts are equivalent. The talk
describes this relationship and gives applications to factorization of
subdivision operators and moment problems.
