"My research group develops microscopy methods with the highest resolution. These allow us and other scientists to investigate how proteins, the building blocks of life, interact with each other and form complex structures in cells. The aim is to gain a better understanding of fundamental questions in biology and medically relevant cellular processes." (Jonas Ries)

Research areas:

* High-resolution microscopy
* Dynamic cellular structural biologyie
