There are fellowships available for junior scientists covering the hotel and part of the local expenses. Our financial resources make it necessary to limit the number of supported participants who will be selected among the applicants. Applications for fellowships should be submitted before June 15, 2008. Please arrange for one letter of recommendation to be emailed before June 15, 2008 to vienna.theor-physik@univie.ac.at . You will be notified by end of June.

We invite applications for a limited number of talks from researchers working in areas related to the focus of the seminar. Junior participants, including advanced graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty, will be given priority. Applications should be submitted before June 15, 2008. You will be notified by end of June.

Accommodation will be provided in nearby pensions and hotels, please let us know your wishes well in advance! If you are applying for accommodation later than by Oct. 17, 2008 we kindly ask you to directly address yourself to the Vienna Tourist Information http://wien.info/wtv/book-e.html .

"Großer Hörsaal Materialphysik"
Boltzmanngasse 5 / 3rd floor
A-1090 Vienna

In addition to the seminars we cordially invite you to attend the poster and discussion sessions on Friday and Saturday afternoon; there will be a Public Lecture on Friday evening and a Conference Reception on Saturday evening. The detailed program will be communicated in the third announcement.
