General Information


This excursion is a joint field trip in cooperation between the University of Vienna, Austria and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The destination is the Pakleni Island Group in Croatia, where students will have the opportunity to acquire and apply geographic and cartographic expertise. Theoretical approaches will be discussed as well as applied research carried out.

Registration is required for participation. Further details will be distributed soon. This field trip can only be attended in combination with the Field Trip Preparation Course at the University of Vienna starting in December 2018

Registration via letter of motivation
Participation only in combination with preparation course
Emphasis in cartography and geography (Master study level)
Strong affinity to cartography and GIScience
Good physical health
