What does the threat management team do?
The Threat Management Team offers support to those affected by stressful threatening situations. Incoming reports are reviewed objectively and in a standardised manner to determine their relevance, the risk is assessed and a decision is made on how to proceed. The focus is on preventing violence.
Threat management always means creating a trusting relationship. Discretion, fairness, no premature judgements and the protection of the privacy of all those involved are our top priorities. At the same time, threat management means resolutely standing up for the safety of everyone at the university.
