The Univie Awards recognises outstanding achievements by our university staff, including the Univie Teaching Awards and the Univie Entrepreneurship Awards.

Univie Teaching Awards

Teaching is highly valued at our university. That is why the University of Vienna honours outstanding achievements and provides a platform for successful teaching. Would you like to nominate someone for the Univie Teaching Award? The categories and criteria for submissions can be found on the respective faculty or centre website.

Information for students

Nominations for courses can be submitted by groups of three students or more, provided that the course took place during the period specified on the centre/faculty website.

Univie Entrepreneurship Awards

Around 85,000 students, 11,000 employees and 9,000 graduates each year have great entrepreneurial potential. With the Entrepreneurship Award, we recognise founders for their innovative ideas. The award ceremony takes place as part of Entrepreneurship Night. At this networking event, successful founders provide insights into entrepreneurial practice.
