My research
"I am interested in the transnational history of the 19th and 20th centuries, with a particular focus on political actors such as exiles, foreign fighters, and political deportees. The circulation of people, ideas, and practices across borders has influenced and shaped political mobilization and engagement. This research allows us to better understand not only the interconnected world and the relationships between its different parts, but also the effects of contact, exchange, and mutual influence."
