“In my research, I focus on the perspectives of children and young people in order to analyze their understanding, interests, and approach to religion and to be able to relate this to religion-related educational offerings. The goal is always to develop high-quality and accessible religion-related educational offerings in various fields of action. High-quality religion-related education is a central part of general education. Religious education focuses on people, their relationship to themselves, to others, and to concepts of God in the past and present. This is also where its contribution to understanding and shaping society lies.”
