My research
"My research contributes to deepening the understanding of Islam in today's social context and helps build bridges between theology, science, and practice. It also supports the training of imams and pastoral caregivers, promotes interreligious dialogue, and contributes to the development of an empirically grounded Islamic theology. In addition, it supports political and social actors in informed decision-making and strengthens social cohesion by reflecting on Islamic norms in a pluralistic environment."
